MDPE – EN

MDPE is a type of polyethylene obtained by the physical blending of high or low-pressure processes of LLDPE and LDPE. With a density in the range of 0.926 to 0.940 g/cm2, MDPE is widely used. As a thermoplastic, MDPE is utilized in various applications due to its resistance to impacts and falls. MDPE has distinctive properties of its own.
  • It provides a much better cutting response than HDPE.
  • It is highly resistant to impacts and falls.
  • It has moderate to high heat resistance.
  • It complies with food processing regulations.
  • Its density is extremely low compared to HDPE.
