Produced through the polymerization of styrene in its monomeric state, HIPS has significantly better impact resistance compared to GPPS. With a matte and semi-translucent appearance, HIPS is a commonly preferred material. Also known as &#8216;Anti-shock,&#8217; HIPS is the abbreviation for High Impact Polystyrene. HIPS, with a processing temperature between 180 degrees and 250 degrees, possesses various distinctive technical characteristics.
