Due to its high density, it offers greater resistance to chemicals compared to other types of polyethylene. HDPE is impact-resistant, durable, and easy to process and manufacture.<br><br>\n\nHDPE is highly suitable for injection molding applications. It can be sterilized and is capable of continuous use at temperatures up to **80\u00b0C** under non-load-bearing conditions.<br><br>\n\nAlthough HDPE has a similar appearance to **Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE)**, it is significantly harder and has a molecular weight ranging from approximately **150,000 to 400,000**. It provides excellent resistance to water and a wide variety of chemicals. However, like LDPE, it is not inherently resistant to prolonged exposure to sunlight and outdoor weather conditions. This resistance can be significantly improved through the use of specialized additives and stabilizers. HDPE exhibits excellent mechanical properties, particularly high impact strength and tensile strength. These properties can be further enhanced with reinforcing fillers. Under normal conditions, its tensile strength ranges from **225\u2013350 kg\/cm\u00b2**, and its heat resistance exceeds **100\u00b0C**.<br><br>\n\nThanks to its versatile properties, HDPE is widely used in the production of pressure pipes, gas distribution pipes, bottles, jerry cans, household appliances, insulation materials, toys, and electrical and electronic components.<br><br>\n\nHDPE is extensively utilized across industrial and manufacturing sectors. It provides outstanding resistance to water and many chemical substances. It is resistant to dirt and corrosion, contains no toxic substances, and is very easy to clean. However, it is not naturally resistant to ultraviolet (UV) radiation or prolonged exposure to harsh weather conditions without suitable additives. One of the major advantages of HDPE is that it does not require protective surface coatings. It also offers excellent resistance to aging. Compared to steel, aluminum, and composite materials, HDPE is easier to fabricate and join. Another important characteristic is its excellent resistance to freezing conditions. In recent years, its superior water resistance has made it increasingly popular for the manufacture of boats, water tanks, and storage containers.<br><br>\n\nHDPE is compatible with a wide range of processing techniques, including **injection molding, powder coating, film extrusion, and rotational molding**. For injection molding applications, maintaining the mold temperature between **50\u00b0C and 70\u00b0C** helps improve the quality and surface finish of the final product. In addition, HDPE possesses excellent electrical insulating properties, making it highly suitable for various electrical and electronic
